You design and build the copilots and agents our clients put in front of their people: grounded in governed data, connected to real tools, evaluated before release and governed after it.

Remote-first across Canada, the United States and Mexico · Full-time or contract

AI Engineer: Generative AI and Agents

What you will do

  • Build agents on Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and Claude, with retrieval over Fabric and Azure AI Search
  • Design tool integrations, including Model Context Protocol servers, with approval and audit
  • Create evaluation sets and run them on every release
  • Set guardrails, cost controls and monitoring, and train the teams who use the agents

What you bring

  • Three or more years building production software, two of them with large language models
  • Python or TypeScript, APIs and cloud deployment
  • Retrieval, prompt and tool design, and evaluation methods
  • A security mindset: least privilege, human approval for consequential actions

Nice to have

  • Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI or Anthropic API in production
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 or Power Platform integration

Why MJ Insight

  • A trilingual North American practice: Canada, the United States and Mexico
